| 1. | Remove any sediment or corrosion from inside the valve with steel wool.

| 2. | Apply another coat of stripper and scrub with very coarse steel wool.

| 3. | If the marks are stubborn, rub very lightly with fine steel wool.
|
| 4. | Use a soft cloth; do not use scouring pads or steel wool.
|
| 5. | Apply the de-waxer with clean cloths or No . 2 steel wool.
|
| 6. | Aluminum sills can be cleaned with liquid abrasive or fine steel wool.
|
| 7. | If not, then treat it with steel wool and paint thinner.
|
| 8. | If that fails, rub with fine steel wool and mineral spirits.
|
| 9. | Try this : dip steel wool in paint thinner and rub with vigor.
|
| 10. | Or, scrub lightly with fine steel wool or a rough cloth.
